Baylor baseball head coach Steve Smith announced the program's 2009 schedule Wednesday. The 52-game slate features 32 home games, including 15 Big 12 Conference games. The Bears also host South Alabama, UAB and UC Irvine for the fourth-annual QTI Classic at Baylor Ballpark. Baylor leaves the state of Texas only three times and does not play any non-conference games outside the Lone Star State.

yes.....it's mandatory that the out of towners come to waco for a baseball game.

I'm up for going to the MMC this year if anyone wants to go.

Looks like we can make 2 of the Houston Classic games. Saturday is out as that should be our first day of work.

Is it just me, or are there an unusually large number of baseball games at the Baylor Ballpark this year? Were we on the road this much last year?no noconference road series this year. went to Starkville and Oral Roberts last year.

Depends on when Spring Break is this year. If it is early I could make one or two.

Possibility. I would be Omaha bound in all likelihood if Baylor makes it. I'd hate to break the streak.

well, I'm all for going to Houston for the College classic if anyone is interested in going to that.

I'm also Omaha bound regardless if BU makes it or not.
