Good idea ChipOC.

First up is the Firefox Ad Block Plus issue. If you have it activated it will not forward you to links correctly. Since this site is not about ad revenue, you can click on the ABP logo in your tool bar and add this site to the safe list. Your links will then work and all will be well.

The admins will have to look at the links, but you can post with or without a quote. To post without just click on the "Post reply" button at the bottom of the thread. There are no avatars right now because of beta testing and the measuring of bandwidth it requires.

Maybe it is a setting, but there is no Post reply button. There is a post quick reply similar to bf but I can't enter text in the box unless I reply to a post.

Just below this post on the lower left corner should be a POST REPLY listed. The quick post box below has to be activated by clicking on the little icon on a post that you want to respond to. The icon is near the edit post button and looks like an upside down triangle.

I found the Post Reply, but why not the quick reply? I only ask because during the day I have to post from my Treo and that is the only way to do it.

Good job of setting this up and working on the bugs. I can appreciate the effort since I'm in IT.

I am using the quick reply feature on this post. By the Edit-Quote-" buttons at the lower right is an upsidedown triangle. Click that and it enables the quick reply box below. Hopefully ADMIN can alter this a bit and remove the extra step but for now that is how it works.

I just looked at my settings. Go to User CP and options. It looks like there is only a way to select time zone so I think we may be living with military time.

Yes, Military time is the administrator's preferred method, so that will stay for now. They are working on the email server, which will need to be in the way before we start charging for your screennames.

I was on IE (wife's work laptop) with no red lines. I got knocked off again and couldn't get back on even after clearing cache.

Soooo.... I switched to our desktop and use Firefox and voila....red lines!

By the way, is anyone else getting knocked off unexpectedly? It has happened to me twice. Once at work and once at home, both using IE.

Sheesh! Brand new site and I've already been banned twice! ;) Oh well, maybe third time is a charm after all. :D

Atex, Vol was accepted for membership, and was accepted. He posted once, but now each time he logs on, it says "May not post" at the bottom of the page. Did he tick you off with that one post or something? ;)
