News Blaze, Tom L. Potts, Ph.D., CFP, assumed his term as president of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) on January 1, 2010. Potts, a professor of finance and director of the financial services program for Baylor University's Hankamer School of Business in Waco, Texas, previously served on numerous workgroups within the FPA.
