Mote Named Baseball Volunteer Assistant

Baylor baseball head coach Steve Smith named Trevor Mote as the program's volunteer assistant Tuesday. Mote comes to Baylor after a three-year stint as assistant coach at Yavapai College in Arizona. He replaces Chris Clemons, who accepted a position at McLennan Community College. A native of Kingman, Ariz., Mote played at Baylor during the 2001 season.
