I'm proud of them too but wanted us to win gold. I'm getting tired of all the announcers being for China since the event's there. A couple of our girls were key like Johnson and Luikin.

You cannot change what happened. There is no shame in winning a team silver medal. Disappointed? Yes. They were capable of winning gold, but even had those errors not occurred the Chinese team likely would have gone gold. They are that good. I remain proud of our athletes and celebrate their success. they did a very solid job and represented our country very admirably.

look, i get it, and it's good that you're proud. I think it's cool they won silver, but the window was there, you can't say it wasn't. **** Peyton Manning had incredible seasons for years and he was labeled as not being able to win the big game. The opportunity was there, plain and simple, and they choked THAT away.

Good job.. silver. I'm sure they would have rather had the Gold.

A LOT of discussion right now about doctored passports allowing them to compete when the birth certificates clearly show otherwise.

Trautwig (the announcer for NBC) was doing everything but saying "Shut up about it" on the air, repeatedly. He said stuff like commenting on how young they look was no different than saying kids at college "look young" or something, and when one of the other commentators brought it up again he said it was settled, and there was nothing more to discuss.
