Stickies on Athletic Boards?

Do you think it would be possible to have the sticky stories move down after a period (short) of time?

For example, on the basketball board right now, there are 10+ sticky stories from Baylor news sources, all from 08/06 and 08/07. All of the discussion threads are way below this.

Is there any way to move the stickies down after 24-48 hours so we can see the discussion threads more easily, since many of those are likely to be that day's discussions?

I think they are related to a feature in the RSS feeds. I can't answer this one. I'll be happy to do the leg work to remove the stickies if it is ok with the admins.

BC... yes, they were supposed to un-sticky after 24 hours, but clearly this is something else to work on.

awesome, thank you limnos. Now if we could just get some real discussion on those boards instead of just links to articles. On campus has plenty of people posting, but we need to start talking football, it's only two weeks away.
