Baylor sophomore quarterback Robert Griffin III has been named a semifinalist for the 2010 Davey O'Brien National Quarterback Award, as announced by the Davey O'Brien Foundation Monday.

I think it accounts for 20% of the vote if I remember correctly. It's gotten him through thus far.

Exactly! I think it will help him get into the finals and then the real decision makers will be sure to take a look.
