Many, many moons ago my son and I predicted the downfall of Baylor football if something wasn't done about the lack of recruiting linemen. No, not the son of mine many of you know so well, but my older one.

Well, this coach recruited some outstanding studs at the skill positions, some of which never made it into Baylor. But he hardly ever recruited any linemen. His name was Chuck Reedy. This is the first time I can remember through the Steal and Morriss years that we are getting us some big boys in numbers that will make a difference in the future.

Finally, our future starts to look brighter.
