What do you guys think about the possibility of Joe Horn going to the Cowboys.
Horn claims to have asked to be released from the Falcons, and he's now saying that he wants to go to a contender. John Clayton mentioned Seattle and Dallas as possible locations.
Personally, I think Horn way overestimates his own worth, but at the same time he would be a good 2nd or 3rd guy in Glenn's absence.
Thoughts?

I'd say it's a good time to have him considering the injuries. But in other times, no.
Question: Can his mouth and the other mouth co-exist in the same town?

He's so past his prime.

He's so past his prime.
So was Terry Glenn. That's the only reason I'm thinking it MIGHT be a good idea.
We don't need a primetime guy, we need a possession guy that knows what he's doing. I think Horn could be that guy.

Horn has had a solid history of performance and if the price was right I would not mind seeing a reliable veteran guy like Horn wearing the star if he could keep his mouth shut.

The difference between Glenn and Horn is that Glenn was lightning fast and then became very fast. Horn has gone from fast to not so fast.

what mouth are you referring to? Oh wait, that's right, people still want to rip on T.O. even though he hasn't had one bit of trouble in Dallas.

Terry Glenn was a speed guy, past his prime, sure, but definitely servicable. Joe Horn couldn't even make some noise on a depleted Falcons receiving squad... you heard the name Roddy White more than Joe Horn.
Our "possession" guy is T.O. We need a burner.
Not sure why you're discounting Crayton... he's had a very good pre-season.

Where did I discount Crayton? I said Horn would be a good second or third guy in the absence of Glenn---implying that T.O. and Crayton were likely 1 and 2. Maybe Horn would beat out Crayton for the number 2 spot....maybe not.

no way Horn beats out Crayton... Horn would have trouble beating out Sam Hurd or Miles Austin.

Exactly. Horn's days of being anything other than a distraction are over.

leading the NFC in touchdowns isn't trouble to me. Can you elaborate on the trouble you speak of?

Believe me or not but I think Sam Hurd is going to have a break out year.
