Griffin has what we've been lacking as long as I've been a Baylor fan (since '99) and probably longer than that...pure athletic ability. He brings an excitement I've not seen from any other player in the green and gold. His performance tonight against Wake will put butts in the seats. On any given play he has the ability to make something special happen. He showed this in his first game. I can't wait to see what he does next week.

Bottom line: Griffin brings excitement to Floyd Casey and that equals butts in seats. If we can put together some wins, there will be a LOT more butts in seats than we're used to.

If we EVER win football games it wont matter who is QBing. The impact of tonight, however, was probably the opposite. The "same stuff, different day" theory is at work right now and will be until we put a couple of Ws on the board.

The biggest concern on how the Wake game will affect attendance is whether the students show up or not for the NSU game.

Didn't realize we were able to get 30K at the game. Didn't really look like that much on TV. Seriously if they are true BU fans they will show up no matter.

We are (in trouble) if we are depending on "true BU fans."

Those are about as rare as a buffalo nickel.

I honestly showed up hoping for a victory and a stunner. Later on in the season, I will have to decide whether or not I want to waste 100's of dollars in gas and time, or if I would rather just send a check into the BBF and watch it on TV.
