The original link was to the cesspool, which is not verifiable.

As for the original post, he is saying that tonight's opening sequence on the UCLA v Tennessee game included some Baylor highlights.

Why is the link "unverifiable"? Yeah, it pointed back to the old site, but it had pics.

The moderation accounts have been banned from there, so I am not able to verify whether or not the pics are acceptable here. If someone wants to post the pictures in a PM to me, I will re-add them.

I'm confused why can't I post links to baylorfans since I cannot post them here?

I'm also confused as to HOW or WHY someone would go in and modify my post?

Isn't this EXACTLY why people left the "other" site?

Ahhh so we go the other extreme and turn into a police state run website where someone cannot post pictures or links to another web site?

don't overreact.

Now, I do agree that if the moderation accounts have been banned from the other site, then maybe another moderator who isn't banned should be in charge of checking it out before the post is altered.

I agree that there should be a policy to have someone check out the link before removing it from someone's post. If the link was followed, it was clear the post was on the same subject.

Sic Em,

Ultimately, I am in the mode of protecting this site first, which is why we so far have had a tight control on pictures, etc. I do actively monitor the pictures and words here, because several people have PMed me and/or actively lobbied to keep profanity and other non-relevant pictures off the board. I did proactively redact the link until it could be verified. Unfortunately, over there, I was banned for clarifying a post about someone who chose to come over to this site and therefore lost his rights on that board. Therefore, until I found a work around, I redacted the link from that site to make sure it was verified. When I did get the work around, I noticed that it was actually your original post, so I felt confident that the material you added was your own, and the link was reposted.

You can be sure that things will not be as actively removed with a BF.com link in the future as I have secured a workaround for the banning over there.

It was not meant to be a permanent ban on the link, simply a verification measure. As expressed by many posters, they are excited by the active moderation, and understand in a couple instances, I am erring on the side of caution, especially on posters I have not met personally. I have now regained access to publically view sites from BF.com, so it will not be a future issue.

now back to the point of the thread. Yes I saw the Baylor highlights. I believe there was two. I remember the second was of Jacoby scoring his touchdown.

I like Jacoby. Jacoby should play more.

Exactly. The guy has wheels man. I hope they get him VERY involved this season. He just always gets yards, and is almost always effective.
