Why, did we take it???
Oh, you mean...wow, you work here...yeah, good description of this particular Subway location.
As another aside, owning a Subway must be about equal to printing money.
Subway does a brisk business.
Yeah, the "I get paid to do more than just sit here?" syndrome.

Less than $9 a month for the young alumni and that gets you a parking sticker. It would cost you $35-70 just to park.
I'm too old for young alumni.
Wants, just say it--
"I am cheap.":D
I am the same way!
I'm not cheap and would be willing to pay. But, as I mentioned earlier, I don't want to say why I'm not a member of BBF or have season tickets to football.
I dont either, I am not a BBF fan.
ditto.

[QUOTE=nein51;13093]If you managed to hold back the snickering when they lost you are no real Baylor fan. Too much time with those sea aggies.

Hi jerks!
What's up? Work has been in-*******-sane these last few weeks... okay-month.
Wanted to share a little story with you:
So I got invited to go to a Box Suite at Kyle field last weekend. Free trip and all the beers/food I could drink. It was kind of a big deal that I was even invited since it was mainly the administration from the school that was going. I was literally the lowest rung on the totem pole even invited.
So I went. Had a pretty good time. I couldn't root AGAINST Aggy -that'd be career suicide- but I COULD just enjoy a good as-kicking. But oh man, it was soooo hard not to laugh when the game went south.
I love my boss, he tries extra-hard to "turn down the obnoxious" when Aggy sports are involved and he was just turning green in front of me. We ended up nearly having a beer-drinking contest... It was a great time. Kyle field is a cool place to watch a game. The food was awesome and the beer was cold.
I think we're all coming up for the Baylor-A&M game in November, too. I'll bring them to the tailgate. Great people. Should be a fun time. You are one sick individual. That's all I'm saying.

You know, I'm proud to say that I'm getting over the "blind hatred" thing of Aggy or UT. It's dumb. I don't like them, and I enjoy seeing them in pain.

Have you met some of my former employees?
On another note, how does Subway run out of bread???
The Subway on 61st Street ran out of chips, cookies and drinks one day when I was there. So much for my combo meal. I was ticked.
As another aside, owning a Subway must be about equal to printing money.
It is, and the franchise fee used to be reeeeeeeaaaaally low, comparatively speaking, which is why there are so darned many of them.

Last night, I went to a Subway's next to Chuck E Cheese next to Waco Drive, and I had an Italian bread, so I wanted it toasted. It was all crumbly after it was done. That was not the only problem, but at that time I was eating, I noticed that the guy was the only one working when I saw some people lining up to order.
Despite the bread being crumbly, I still managed to enjoy my dinner because I was just simply very hungry.

So I'm looking more into this Austin's on the Avenue place. Their myspace says they have live music daily from 6-12. Don't know if that's in the future once they really get rolling or if it's already up and running. We're going back today so we'll see. Also I found this...
1st Annual Mardi Gras Waco
Type: Special Event
Date: 2/2/2008
Time & Place:
Corner of Austin Avenue and 8th Street
Details:
http://www.mardigraswaco.org/
Hey Waco! It's time to PARTY! On February 2, 2008 Austin Avenue will be THE place to be!
All the fun of New Orleans Mardi Gras will be coming to Waco's own Austin Avenue. The Waco Performing Arts Company will present a Mardi Gras Formal Masquerade on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008, with proceeds benefitting the Hippodrome Theatre.
Downtown merchants on Austin Ave., such as The Palladium, The Green Room Grille, Austin's on the Avenue, and The Hippodrome, will be joining together in an effort to bring this attraction to the artery of our city for a jazzed evening of purple carpet magic.
Plans are underway to close and transform the corner of Austin Avenue and 8th St., to Broadway and Bourbon St., for the evening of Feb. 2, 2008 (Groundhog day and the day before the Superbowl).
If you would be interested in becoming a Founding Year Sponsor or for more information contact: Michael or Charon at 254-753-0283 or email to sponsor@MardiGrasWaco.org
If they do this thing right, it could be a hell of a time for Waco.

Fogged in in Dallas
On my way to L.A.
Staring up at the screen,
All flights were delayed
When a voice from behind me asked
"Stranger, how have you been?"
Well I was caught off guard
When I saw her face
Stumbled my way
Through an awkward embrace
Yet somehow I managed to say,
"Good to see you again"
We caught up on old friends
Caught up on old times
But all through the small talk,
It kept burning through my mind
Does she think about
The nights we spent on crystal lake
Wrapped up in a blanket
'Til the break of day
So many times I've wondered
Does she think of me that way
I didn't ask
And she didn't say
Trading stories
And pictures of kids
Things we're gonna do
And things we never did
'Til stranded in that moment,
Not sure what to say
Then she broke the silence
With her little shy smile
And she brought up the weather
But all the while
I wondered if she thinks
About jackson hole
Nights beside the fire
And angels in the snow
So many times I've wondered
Does she think of me that way
I didn't ask
And she didn't say
We said our goodbyes,
Swore we'd stay in touch
Then we went our separate ways,
Knowing no one ever does
But I couldn't help but wonder
As I walked away
If things had turned out different
Where would we be today
So many times I've wondered
Does she think of me that way
I didn't ask
And she didn't say
No, I didn't ask
And she didn't say

Random story. One night I was drunk and with a few friends going to Taco Bell. It was like 2am or so. We drove up, ordered a ton of stuff and then they said, "Oh...we're out of beef." You're a TACO joint. You have 4 ingredients - tortillas, beans, cheese, BEEF. How do you run out of beef?
So we drove to Wendy's. "Welcome to Wendy's, can I take your order?" "Do you have beef?" "Uh....yes." "Can we take some to Taco Bell?" "Uh....no." "Okay then, I'll have...."

Never under my watch. I ran a 99.97% instock and .8 day inventory across 6 warehouses including the largest in the country, Orange County.
Just my luck. I found the one restaurant in the chain that was supposed to have had that .03% and were dependent on the warehouse that was part of the .2 days of missing inventory.

The Focus is not starting. Just clicking at me. So now, for those keeping track, we have one vehicle, and it has a torn up wiring harness that causes it to have no A/C and a variety of other minor issues. I'm moving to Canada and living in a shack with a pet goat.

well, the last project path had it hitting North Carolina. But Weather HD advised us not to look at where it will make landfall as all areas along the coast line will be affected.
You'll be on the western side of the hurricane, which is generally the weaker side. Shouldn't really have to worry about storm surge, probably just lots of rain and some gusty winds.

The itching is most likely just the healing. I hate doctors poking around on something they are not familiar with. I know the doctors across the street would walk them through the process.
I don't remember them really cleaning it out originally, unless you count sticking your foot in almost scalding water. That hurt, but it was kind of cool to see the toxins float out. But I do remember the doc looking at it and they took xrays to make sure the barb wasn't there.
I know itching means it is healing, but I just wish it was already healed. I did find out that the wound is 7mm deep though, and that a stingray sting in yankeedom is interesting enough to have three nurses take care of you. :)
Good morning, everyone.

Just to clarify:
Lowe's does not sell Ryobi. Only Home Depot does.
If you got the Ryobi set than you need to go ahead and upgrade to the Lithium cordless battery instead of the regular Ni-Cad. The Lithium has more power, longer lasting, and just all-around kicks butt!
I currently own the Ryobi 18v drill, mini circular saw, flashlight, dustbuster, and blower. I also can borrow the jig saw, sawzal, and air pump from OsoSpectacular.

Donnie, stay dry. Pooky even wore her dress yesterday for the game, and it didn't help, I see.
Wants, you can absolutely have storm surge on the back side of a hurricane. You typically don't get as much rain on the back side, but storm surge has nothing to do with rain. It's wind/tide driven. In Galveston, we are fortunate in that we can get storm surge from BOTH the gulf and the bay. That was a huge problem with Alicia in 83--got whacked by a serious surge from both sides. You can still easily have hurricane force winds on the back side of a storm, especially a larger storm. You'll likely have tropical storm force winds, even if the storm is small. (These, of course, assume you're close enough.) Even our tides were higher this week after Gustav, and we weren't even under a watch--the watch stopped 30 miles away in High Island. That's storm surge, albeit small.

It's blowing about 25 here pretty steady.
It's fun to lean up against the Hot-Tub (limnus), and watch the wind blow while you drink a cold beer. I'm set for the night, and Want's station keeps telling me to hold on. So I'm holding a beer.

Yes. Both of joe's sons played but by the time I got to Huntsville they were grown. I coached for Joe the last three years of his career. Kind of interesting. Joe started at QB for UT back in his day (probably late 50's, early 60's) and married a UT cheerleader. I learned a lot from him. He liked to throw the ball.
